Job summary

Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics LLC (CAO) seeks a Radiology Technologist in Bethesda, MD. The role supports physicians with diagnostic imaging across x-ray, CT, MRI, and mammography, and includes patient prep, image processing, EMR entry, and back-up clinical duties.

The position requires an RT program, ARRT certification, state licensure, CPR, and 2+ years of medical office experience with strong customer service and communication skills. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent, and completion of an approved RT program.
• ARRT Certification; Maryland, Virginia and/or DC licensure as applicable.
• CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
• 2+ years of medical office experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills to promote positive relationships with CAO and other personnel.
• Clinical competence and annual evaluation.
• Excellent customer service and patient experience skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs x-rays and forwards images to radiologist for over-reads; maintains x-ray equipment and safety standards.
• Cleans, stocks, sterilizes equipment and prepares patient rooms for care delivery.
• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and assists with positioning.
• Completes administrative duties including forms, labeling/processing films, and logs.
• Maintains information in the EMR; reports equipment malfunctions.
• Supports clinical team, controls patient flow, conducts EKGs, and takes vitals as needed.
• Assists the medical provider in exams, testing and education.
• Complies with training deadlines and CAO guidelines.
