Radiology Technologist, First Shift, X-ray Department

UC Health is hiring a full-time Radiology Technologist for the X-ray department for the first shift at West Chester Hospital. We are offering up to an $8,000 sign-on bonus!

A Radiology Technologist will assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by producing diagnostic radiographs of the human body, using independent judgment to determine the quality of radiographs and ensure compliance with established protocols. This position will be based at West Chester Hospital within the Diagnostic Imaging department.

Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree required.
  • 1–3 years of experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current licensure by the State of Ohio.
  • Certification in BLS for Healthcare Workers.

  • Ensure safety by providing protective equipment, regulating exposure, and using equipment correctly.
  • Review images for diagnostic quality and maintain records and quality control.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media under physician direction, practice sterile techniques, and assist in emergency procedures.
  • Participate in continuing education related to Radiologic Technology and subspecialties.
