Job summary

Providence Healdsburg Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the Healdsburg, CA campus. This full-time role involves 8-hour night shifts.

You will prepare patients for radiographic imaging, operate imaging equipment, and ensure quality and safety in line with ALARA policies. Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology, California licensure, ARRT certification, BLS, and at least one year of clinical experience during the AA program.

Qualifications

  • California Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
  • ARRT certification upon hire.
  • BLS certification upon hire.
  • 1 year clinical experience during AA program.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for diagnostic radiographic images.

  • Transport patients to and from the department safely.
  • Assist in departmental quality improvement and standby as needed.

Description

Radiology Technologist in Radiology Unit at Healdsburg Hospital, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour Night Shifts.

Under the direction of a staff radiologist, prepares patients for diagnostic radiographic images for use in the diagnosis of our patients. Operates imaging equipment, processes CR cassettes, prepares exam rooms, and maintains equipment, supplies and contrast. Images wisely following ALARA department policies. Is able to transports patients to and from the department safely and efficiently. Assists in the Departmental quality improvement program as directed and assigned. Available for standby as required, and performs other related duties as appropriate and assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist.
  • Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 1 year Clinical experience while in AA program for Radiologic Technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Upon hire: Fluoroscopy and Venipuncture certificates (for Mammography Rad Tech).
