Job summary

AccessHealth in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures including X-Ray and CT with minimal supervision in a small-format hospital setting. You will provide technical assistance and supportive patient care, operate and maintain imaging equipment, document results, and support clinicians across shifts while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Requirements include ARRT registration, completion of AMA-approved Radiology Tech program, BLS, and 2+

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED, plus graduation from an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program.
  • State certification as a radiologic technologist and ARRT registration in radiography; CT certification preferred and required within 12 months.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience; CT and ER experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with imaging equipment, hardware/software, and PACS.
  • Fluency in English, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS.
  • Perform imaging exams according to established policies, notifying physicians of results.
  • Assist in clinical procedures under the guidance of physicians and nurses.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and records in both paper and electronic formats.
  • Collect laboratory samples, perform tests following protocols and regulations like COLA and CLIA.
  • Ensure availability of reagents and consumables for quality testing.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, quality control, proficiency testing, and record-keeping activities.
  • Perform duties as needed in emergency settings and across multiple facility locations.
  • Attend meetings and perform additional assigned duties.
