Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging for adults and children, including general radiography and portable exams. The role requires preparing patients and equipment, and working independently in ER and on-call situations.

You will use Siemens, Samsung, and Carestream systems, assist with OR procedures when needed, and support a variety of clinical settings. Flexible evening/overnight shifts include comprehensive benefits to support growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in radiologic technology or related field.
• Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))) and ARRT registration.
• Licenses as required, including Illinois IEMA certification if applicable.
• Preferred 2+ years of experience and CPR certification.
• Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment, ensuring high-quality service and instructions.
• Conduct radiographic examinations independently, including emergencies and on-call.

Job description

This PRN Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures for adult and pediatric patients, including general radiography, portable exams, and occasional in-house OR imaging. The role requires preparing patients and equipment, performing independently in various settings such as ER and emergency situations, and utilizing Siemens, Samsung, and Carestream imaging equipment. The technologist may also assist with procedures in the operating room and handle portable exams as assigned.
