Southern Illinois Healthcare in Harrisburg, IL is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic exams and support the Diagnostic Imaging department. The role requires ARRT, IEMA and BLS certifications and ensures adherence to radiation safety protocols while delivering quality patient care.

Experience with PACS/EMR and strong communication with the care team are essential as the imaging rooms are kept clean and stocked, supporting smooth department operations.

Formación

• Associate degree in Radiology or Certificate Program is required.
• ARRT, IEMA and BLS certifications required.
• Imaging equipment operation and patient care experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Performs diagnostic radiographic exams.
• Utilizes PACS and EMR systems.
• Maintains intravenous and contrast competency.
• Follows protocols for patient positioning, exposure control, and radiation protection.
• Communicates clearly with the patient care team.
• Cleans and inspects imaging equipment.
• Cleans and stocks imaging rooms.

• Responsible for performing a variety of duties in relation to imaging patients and ensuring smooth operations of the Diagnostic Imaging department while providing appropriate levels of patient care and customer service.
