Rock Health in Mississippi is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiologic procedures under the guidance of a licensed physician, following safety standards. The role involves selecting and computing appropriate settings for each patient, developing and implementing treatment plans per hospital protocols, and maintaining equipment and a clean, organized work area.
Qualification requires completion of an accredited radiography program (an associate degree preferred); ARRT registration
This position involves performing radiologic procedures following technical and safety standards as directed by a licensed physician.
Select and compute appropriate settings for each patient, develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with hospital protocols, complete documentation to ensure compliance, and maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, organized manner.
Participate in performance improvement activities by collecting quality data, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requires completion of an accredited radiography program, with an associate degree preferred. Demonstrates thorough understanding of radiologic principles, techniques, and proper positioning for optimal results. Must follow written and oral instructions, and possess strong organizational skills.
Registered with ARRT in Radiography (R), with BLS certification within 14 days of hire. New graduates must obtain registry within 120 days. State licensure is required; registration in multiple specialties is preferred.
