Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology procedures under the direction of Imaging Services leadership. You will operate radiographic equipment, position patients, and ensure high-quality images with strict safety protocols.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, explaining procedures, selecting exposure factors, and assisting in fluoroscopy and other exams as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years continuous experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• California Venipuncture Certification may be required for certain modalities.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiology procedures as directed by Imaging Services Director and Chief of Diagnostic Imaging.
• Explains procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation.
• Prepares and positions patients for imaging.
• Determines exposure factors and operates radiographic equipment to produce quality images.
• Maintains radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
