Job summary

HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is seeking a dynamic Radiology Technologist to join our team in Kissimmee, Florida. The primary function involves performing X‑rays on patients while triaging and providing additional patient care services. This position requires collaboration with a supportive team that behaves like family.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Accredited by ARRT.
• Licensed by the state of Florida.
• Two years of clinical experience in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate X‐rays as ordered by the provider while practicing radiation safety precautions.
• Prepare and transmit images to the radiologist for over‐read.
• Room patients, including taking and recording vital signs.
• Assist patients and providers with walking and specimen collection.
• Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
• Transport patients as needed.
