Job summary

Denver Health in Denver, CO is seeking a General Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging under supervision. The role emphasizes patient safety, quality imaging, and accurate data entry into PACS and Epic to support radiologists' diagnoses.

The position requires a Post High School Diploma or AART certification within 3 years, BLS CPR, and ARRT Radiography credentials. Work is PRN/intermittent, with day shifts and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Post High School Diploma or Certificate Program AART required within 3 years of start date.
• Less than 1 year of professional work experience in general radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures.
• BLS CPR (AHA) required and RTR-RT Radiography certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality general radiographic/fluoroscopic imaging studies and selects appropriate software settings.
• Uses PACS and Epic to document patient data and manage radiology worklists.
• Ensures patient safety and dignity, following patient-identification and care guidelines.
• Maintains department inventory and reports equipment issues to supervision.
• Attends departmental meetings and participates in inservices.
• Maintains clean and safe imaging/testing environment and coordinates with service personnel.
