Job summary

Encompass Health Radiology Technologist position involves performing highly complex imaging exams, coordinating equipment, calculating technical factors, and applying radiation safety protocols in a patient-focused setting.

You will maintain imaging equipment, ensure timely exam processing, participate in in-services, and uphold quality standards while contributing to patient well-being and community care.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and CPR certification are required.
• Minimum 2 years of radiography training in an accredited program.
• Working knowledge of radiological equipment and ability to perform highly specialized exams.

Responsibilities

• Types, proofreads, and mails results of the exams.
• Coordinates multiple factors to achieve a quality exam in appropriate timeframe.
• Utilize radiation safety devices.
• Attends departmental in-services and staff development programs.
• Maintains and cleans equipment work areas and reports malfunctions.
