Job summary

Providence Health & Services in Olympia seeks a part-time Radiologic Technologist to perform radiology exams and support radiologists. You will operate radiographic equipment, ensure quality control, and help deliver accurate imaging for interpretation.

Join Providence St. Peter Hospital's Diagnostic Imaging team, contributing to department growth while upholding a patient-focused care culture and strong teamwork across shifts. A WA license, ARRT, and BLS are required upon hire.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Military certificate of completion in Radiology accepted.
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist license required upon hire.
  • ARRT national certification required upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS from American Heart Association required upon hire.
  • Minimum 1 year clinical radiologic technology experience.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and perform radiology procedures with quality control.
  • Assist radiologists and operate radiographic equipment.
  • Provide accurate information for interpretation and report results.
  • Suggest improvements to management and participate in department growth.

Description

Provides quality care to patients. Performs Radiology exams proficiently to provide Radiologists with accurate information to reach an interpretation. Brings areas of improvement to the attention of Management. The Registered Radiological Technologist is responsible for radiological procedures, assisting radiologist, and radiographic equipment operations as outlined in the job's position description. Typical responsibilities include: setting up and conducting radiological procedures and performing quality control and reporting tasks. Participates in the growth and development of the DI department and contributes ideas.

Required Qualifications


  • Graduate of an accredited 2 year Radiologic Technologist Program Or

  • Military certificate of completion- Radiology

  • Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist

  • Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

  • 1 year Clinical experience in Radiologic Technology, or equivalent.

  • Hospital experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
