Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this patient-first role, you will perform radiographic exams, ensure accurate imaging protocols, and support physicians in diagnosing and treating diverse patient populations.

You’ll operate and maintain imaging equipment, observe strict radiation safety and infection control standards, and document procedures in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required or eligible, with solid radiographic skills.
• Experience following imaging protocols and safe radiation practices.
• Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic exams and ensure accurate imaging protocols.
• Position patients correctly and operate imaging equipment.
• Document procedures in the EMR and assist physicians as needed.
