You will operate imaging systems, ensure image quality, prepare rooms, and assist radiologists during procedures while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (required), with a preference for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong technical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and adherence to safety and quality standards are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operates all mammography units independently and performs screening, diagnostic, and special imaging exams.
• Ensures proper image quality through correct positioning, compression, and technique selection.
• Prepares examination rooms and assists radiologists during procedures.
• Communicates effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
• Maintains quality control by performing scheduled procedures and documenting results.
• Develops films consistently, maintains darkroom integrity, and manages supplies.
• Participates in training of new staff and students, and complies with regulatory standards including the Mammography Quality Standards Act.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of equipment and workspaces.
