Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a certified Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team. This role supports surgeons, nurses, and other OR staff to ensure a safe, sterile environment before, during, and after procedures.

The ideal candidate will hold an accredited Surgical Technologist program credential, CST certification per state regulations, and a current BLS certification. Preference given to those with OR experience. No weekends or evenings are required.

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Current CST certification, as required by state regulations.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

JOB TITLE: Surgical Technologist (Certified) – No Weekends/Evenings

Reports To

Physician and/or Registered Nurse

General Summary of Duties

Surgical Technologists, also known as Scrub Technologists, Surgical Technicians, or Operating Room Technicians, assist in surgical procedures under the direction and supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, and other surgical personnel. As a vital member of the operating room team, the Surgical Technologist helps ensure a safe, efficient, and sterile environment before, during, and after surgical procedures. Operating room teams commonly include surgeons, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, registered nurses, and surgical technologists working collaboratively to provide exceptional patient care.

Required - Education, Experience & Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification, as required by state regulations.
• Individuals who qualify under applicable state grandfathering provisions may be exempt from certification requirements.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred

• One (1) to two (2) years of clinical experience in an operating room setting.
• Candidates with zero (0) to two (2) years of related clinical experience may be considered.
