St. Catherine of Siena Hospital, part of Catholic Health Services, is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with X-ray equipment and assist physicians in diagnosis.

You will ensure patient safety, produce high-quality images, and maintain equipment according to safety protocols. Requirements include ARRT licensing with NYS licensure and a minimum of one year of experience; knowledge of radiographic anatomy and positioning is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed/registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and have current licensure to practice in NYS.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.
• Must have good working knowledge of radiographic anatomy, radiation physics, and film chemistry.

Responsabilités

Job Details

The Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. The technologist ensures patient safety, produces high-quality diagnostic images, maintains imaging equipment, and follows established radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Under the general supervision of a radiologist and/or appropriate physician, performs radiographic procedures.
• Operates X-ray equipment, fixed or mobile, develops film, prepares X-ray room, equipment, supplies and medications.
• Provides patient services using imaging modalities

Requirements

• Must be licensed/registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Must have current licensure to practice in N.Y.S.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must have good working knowledge of radiographic anatomy, radiation physics, and film chemistry.

Must have a good working knowledge of anatomic postures for positioning of patients to obtain optimal diagnosis.

Salary Range

USD $45.02 - USD $54.36 /Hr.
