Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Michigan is seeking a compassionate Radiology Technologist to join our Orthopaedic outpatient care team. You will operate diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain quality digital images for physician interpretation.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, positioning for exams, performing radiographic procedures, and entering orders into the EMR. A sign-on bonus of $1,000 is available and the role supports a weekday, no-weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology or equivalent.
• Credentials/licensure: Valid CPR, ARRTregistration; for bone density images, ISCD certification or ability to become certified within 90 days.
• Minimum experience: 1–2 years helpful but not required.

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Radiology Technologist to join our Orthopaedic outpatient care team. In this role, you will operate diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain quality digital images of designated body positions for interpretation by physicians.

What You'll Do:

• Prepares patients for procedures utilizing aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Positions patients for radiologic examination.
• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures through the application of ionizing radiation to produce digitized images.
• May operate diagnostic bone density equipment
• Directly enters medication, laboratory, and/or radiology orders into the electronic medical record system.

What We're Looking For:

• EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience. For those obtaining Bone Density images, graduation from an accredited school of clinical densitometry technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: Valid CPR certification. Valid registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. For those obtaining Bone Density images, valid certification by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry or ability to become certified within 90 days of hire.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years’ prior experience helpful, but not required.
