Job summary

Rocky Mountain Surgery Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our ambulatory surgery center. Under physician direction, you will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in line with established protocols to promote positive patient outcomes.

You will uphold the HCA mission and support care and improvement of human life by ensuring patient safety, proper shielding, and clear communication with the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of radiology.
• 1+ years' experience as a Radiology Technologist, preferably in an operating room or surgery center setting.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technicians (ARRT) Required
• BLS required

Responsibilities

• Assemble necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduling procedures according to physician’s preference card.
• Test and monitor equipment for proper working condition.
• Document records and other forms, adhering to approved policies/procedures.
• Confirm that all persons in the room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray.
• Communicate patient status to other staff responsible for care.
• Maintain instruments, supplies, and equipment per cleaning, storage, and calibration procedures.
