Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform radiologic exams across multiple departments including Radiology, surgery, and Emergency. Crowned with a strong safety focus, you will operate equipment, obtain quality images, and support patient care in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires AMA-approved training, ARRT certification within 1 year, fluoroscopy training within 1 month of hire, and BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of AMA approved training program for Radiologic Technology.
• Mandatory fluoroscopy training within one month of hiring.
• ARRT national certification within 1 year of hire.
• BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic examinations/procedures using radiologic equipment across Radiology, surgery, Emergency, inpatient floors and off-site facilities as needed.
• Operates radiology equipment safely and follows department protocols to ensure image quality and patient safety.
• Completes images and films for interpretation by radiologists in a timely manner.
• Maintains patient care standards, keeps records up-to-date, and adheres to all Providence policies.
