North Mississippi Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Staff Technologist for the Radiology Main Unit in Tupelo.

The PRN position involves performing routine and emergency radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and supporting physicians and staff during exams. The Technologist should have an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology and maintain CPR, ARRT RTR licensure, and applicable state certifications.

Formación

• Performs routine and emergency radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures as assigned.
• Keeps up-to-date with radiology changes and continuing education.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians and staff.
• Maintains professional and ethical conduct in all procedures.
• Coordinates with radiology team to prevent delays and ensure quality.

Responsabilidades

• Performs routine and emergency radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including surgery when required.
• Uses techniques appropriate to patient size and condition while maintaining quality and safety.
• Assists physicians and staff during procedures as requested.
• Provides excellent patient service and explains procedures to alleviate anxiety.
• Maintains knowledge of procedures, positions, supplies, and equipment used in Radiology.
