Health Here in Maryland seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform X-ray procedures and related clinical tasks under physician supervision. You will handle patient intake, prepare rooms, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, ECGs or spirometry, and managing imaging workflows with EMR proficiency. A valid ARRT cert and state license are required; CPR must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree and approved Radiologic Technologist program.
  • 1-2 years of medical office or externship experience preferred; relevant work experience may substitute education.
  • ARRT certification and a valid state license (MD, VA, or DC).
  • CPR certification required within 90 days.
  • Clinical competency, excellent communication, patient interaction skills, and proficiency with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to department goals, adhere to policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Maintain equipment sterilization, prepare patient rooms, and support patient care with safety and quality focus.
  • Utilize electronic health records and manage patient flow with effective communication.
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as spirometry, EKGs, vision/hearing tests, and general patient care under supervision.
  • Conduct venipuncture, point-of-care testing, and obtain radiologic images, forwarding images for review.
  • Support patient education, coordination, and discharge processes to enhance patient experience.
  • Assist in care pathways, participate in quality improvement, and support team efforts during workflow bottlenecks.
  • Prepare and administer limited medications and injections after demonstrating competency.
