Job summary

Sollis Health in San Francisco seeks a Radiology Technologist II to operate CT and X-ray equipment, perform diagnostics, and ensure proper data collection for patient records.

The candidate will also receive training to conduct lab testing in a CLIA-certified laboratory, with a schedule of four shifts per week (3 PM–11 PM on weekdays and 7 AM–7 PM on weekends).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program is required.
• Current California Radiologic Technologist license is required.
• Registered by ARRT in Radiography and CT is required.
• Minimum 1 year of prior experience in both X-Ray and CT modalities.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review physician requests and verify patient identity before scans.
• Perform Diagnostic Imaging (CT, X-Ray, and MRI) using appropriate equipment and standards.
• Operate imaging equipment and document images with correct labeling and patient data.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant entry of patient information in the EMR and CRM systems.
• Monitor patient well-being and respond to discomfort or medical issues.
• Run laboratory tests in a CLIA-lab licensed environment and assist with QC tasks.
• Perform clerical duties and other duties as assigned.

Job description

In the role of a Radiology Technologist II at Sollis Health, you will be responsible for the operation of our CT and X-ray equipment, performing diagnostics and ensuring that proper information has been obtained. You will also be trained and certified on how to run lab testing in a CLIA laboratory.

Full Time - 4 shifts a week, 3P-11P M-F and/or 7A-7P on weekends

Responsibilities

• Receive and review the physician's request for radiographic procedures and identify the patient prior to conducting scans
• Perform Diagnostic Imaging - Cat Scan, X-Ray and/or Magnetic Resonance Imaging on a variety of body parts utilizing the appropriate equipment and established standards and procedures
• Operate computer and radiographic equipment for image production and documentation of images
• Ensuring images are legibly labeled with the correct date and patient identification
• Monitoring the patient's well-being and recognizing patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action
• Running laboratory tests on our moderate to complex machines under a CLIA license, and helps to perform routine QC’s and other lab requirements
• Utilizing our EMR Athena Health to enter detailed information about the patients ensuring all information is HIPPA compliant
• Updating patient information in our CRM Salesforce
• Must be able to lift up to, 75 lbs as the second assist for Coterie patients if they are unable to assist themselves if they have fallen.
• Performs clerical duties as requested
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program required
• Current License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist (General Radiographer) in California
• Registered by ARRT in Radiography and CT required
• Must have at least 1 year of previous experience in both modalities: X-Ray and CT

Range: $70 - $75 per hour

This is the anticipated rate/range Sollis Health reasonably expects to pay candidates for this position in San Francisco. Actual pay is dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, location, education, etc.
