Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited program in Radiological Technology required.

Job description

This position will work every other weekend. Weekend Shift Differential will apply.

Job Summary

The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures following Radiologist protocols, ensuring patient care and safety. The Clinic Radiology Tech also performs basic laboratory functions including phlebotomy and some basic lab testing.

What You Will Do
  1. Perform general imaging, including specialty imaging such as Orthopedics.
  2. Position imaging equipment and adjust techniques according to patient body habitus.
  3. Record, process, and maintain patient data within the electronic medical record and PACS system.
  4. Complete all image processing procedures and QC testing, following Radiologist protocols to ensure diagnostic quality.
  5. Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with regulations, ensuring safety of patients and staff.
  6. Communicate with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, confirm understanding, and address questions or concerns.
  7. Perform phlebotomy and basic lab testing as ordered by providers.
Education Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited or approved program in Radiological Technology required.

Experience Qualifications

1-3 years of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology. Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of current clinical experience.

  • Proficiency in EMR systems, computers, phones, and office equipment.

Licenses and Certifications
  • ARRT Certification upon hire required.
  • Radiographer License issued by the state of WI upon hire required.
  • CPR/BLS certification from an approved program upon hire required.
