Job summary

WakeMed in Raleigh, NC is hiring a Radiology Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. You will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams with emphasis on patient safety and high-quality imaging across diverse clinical settings.

You will collaborate with physicians and clinical teams in the ED, OR, pediatrics, inpatient units, and outpatient services, while maintaining accurate records and upholding radiation safety standards. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered Technologist in Radiography (RT) or eligible to obtain registration within six months of hire.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles and commitment to safe, accurate imaging services.

• Work across multiple clinical environments, including the Emergency Department, Operating Room, inpatient units, outpatient services, pediatrics, and portable imaging.
• Prepare equipment and patients for examinations, verify orders, prioritize workflow, and maintain accurate patient records within electronic systems.
• Inspect, test, and maintain imaging equipment while collaborating with physicians and clinical teams to support quality patient outcomes.

We’re hiring a Radiology Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. In this role, you’ll perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment while delivering exceptional patient care. You’ll have the opportunity to work across a variety of clinical settings, including pediatrics, the operating room, emergency services, portable imaging, fluoroscopy, and outpatient procedures. This position also participates in a call rotation supporting multiple WakeMed locations.

What You’ll Do
