Job summary

American Family Care Phillipsburg is seeking a qualified individual to perform radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures. Responsibilities include greeting patients, explaining procedures, positioning patients, processing images, and ensuring compliance with standards. Candidates should have an Associate’s degree or equivalent, be ARRT-registered or board eligible, and possess licenses per state regulations. Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• ARRT-registered or board eligible preferred.
• Licensed per state regulation.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and explain procedures to patients in a compassionate manner.
• Position patients appropriately for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques.
• Process images, review for proper identification and quality control.
• Utilize both digital and non-digital diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Aid provider with prescribed patient treatments.
• Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions on equipment.
• Complete forms, maintain records and logs of work performed.
• Serve as Medical Receptionist and/or Medical Assistant as needed.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education

Associate’s degree or equivalent

Medical Assistant Certification or registry

Practical Nursing License

EMT or Paramedic certification
