Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an experienced Registered Radiologic Technologist to join the hospital outpatient imaging department at the Orthopedic Specialty Hospital (TOSH) in Murray, Utah. You will perform routine X-ray exams, assist with fluoroscopic procedures, and conduct DEXA bone density studies, maintaining ARRT competency and prioritizing patient safety.

This PRN role offers Monday–Friday shifts, typically 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with no weekends or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification required.
• Radiologic technologist license in state of practice (if applicable).
• BLS for healthcare providers required.
• May need MA competency for clinic/InstaCare functions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality competency in clinical/technical tasks.
• Verify patient identity and prepare for exams according to protocol.
• Perform X-ray, fluoroscopic, and DEXA exams with quality image review.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Educate patients; assist students and radiology staff on protocols.
• Document procedures and monitor equipment for failures; ensure QC.
