Job summary

Baptist Health Brookwood in Alabama is seeking Radiology Technologists to join our radiology team. The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation while adhering to radiation safety principles.

Graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology program with Alabama licensure or ARRT certification and current BLS is required. All experience levels are encouraged to apply; benefits begin day one.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Valid Alabama radiologic technologist licensure and ARRT certification.
Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation.
Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor of quality care.
Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring procedures are completed.
Complies with all state and federal regulations applicable to each modality.
Assists in supervision of student technologists and training of new technologists.
Utilizes radiology computer systems effectively and ensures patient safety.
Applies radiation safety principles to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
