Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice in Wilmington, NC seeks a Radiologic Technologist II to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging across inpatient, outpatient, ER, fluoroscopy, and operating rooms. You will work independently and with physicians to support accurate diagnosis.

The role requires ARRT-approved radiography training, state licensure, and registry within 6 months; preferred an associate degree and 1 year radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• Certification required within 6 months of graduation.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (RT(R)) and applicable state licensure.
• Post-graduates must pass ARRT registry within 6 months.
• Preferred: Associate degree and at least 1 year of radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for radiology procedures.
• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, including intraoperative and mobile imaging.
• Assist licensed practitioners with specialized procedures like ERCPs, bronchoscopy, and use of mini C-arms.
• Conduct mobile imaging for lines, pacers, and neonatal cases.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of imaging equipment.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Follow safety regulations and proper use of monitoring devices.
• Maintain a safe environment adhering to “First Do No Harm” principles.
