Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a radiology technologist to perform radiographic examinations under the direction of the Radiologist. You will coordinate daily activities, assist with procedures, and ensure accurate documentation.

A strong emphasis on patient safety and image quality is required. The role requires ARRT-recognized radiologic technology education and BLS certification, with eligibility for registry completion within one year of hire.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Documents patient history for procedures on physician requisitions.
  • Confirms patient identity and verifies consent per protocol.
  • Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
  • Collaborates with radiologist and physicians as needed.
  • Operates equipment and positions patients for proper imaging.
  • Maintains records in line with departmental standards.
