Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in radiologic technology: Preferred

• CA state licensure in Radiologic Tech: Required

Responsibilities

• Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body parts as ordered by physicians.
• Explains procedures to patients and answers questions.
• Prepares equipment and examination rooms for use.
• Positions patients for imaging exams and ensures proper exposure.
• Monitors patient safety during exams and responds to emergencies.
• Documents exam information and reports important findings to the physician.
