Responsibilities

• Maintains awareness of departmental policies and QA procedures for equipment.
• Explains procedures to patients and prepares them for examinations.
• Administers IV and oral contrast as directed and documents findings.
• Maintains safety using ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Operates radiographic and CT equipment and performs minor troubleshooting.
• Assists with patient transport and basic room setup and cleanup.
• Ensures compliant documentation and communication with staff and physicians.
