Job summary

The University of Washington is seeking a Radiology Technologist, CT, for a Day shift, full-time position. You will support diagnostic imaging services and provide patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities include performing CT procedures, educating patients and families, and contributing to QA/QC activities while assisting in staff orientation and training.

Qualifications

  • Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Completion of AMA approved technology program.
  • ARRT registration or equivalent education/experience.

Job description

ADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST, CT.

Full-Time Equivalent (FTE): 100%.

Shift: Day shift (First Shift).

Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Perform skilled radiographic procedures that assist in the diagnosis or treatment of patients.
  • Provide the appropriate education to patients and their families prior to and post Radiology procedure.
  • Participate in the Department QA and QC functions by assisting in the collection of data, and making recommendations as to problems and possible solutions and assist in the orientation of new staff, technologist, researchers, and students.
Required Position Qualifications
  • Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Satisfactory completion of formal technology training in an AMA approved school, registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR equivalent education/experience.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay range: $45.68 - $71.50 per hour.
  • Union/Bargaining Unit: SEIU 1199NW HMC Professional/Technical.
  • Position type: Regular, 100% Full-Time Equivalent, Day shift.
