Providence Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs and provide patient care across age groups, following physician specifications.

Qualifications

• Within 90 days of hire: California Radiologic Technologist.
• Within 90 days of hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Upon request: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs and provide assessment and care for patients across age groups as directed by physician specifications.
• Position patients and adjust x-ray equipment to correct settings for each examination while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Assist physicians by preparing contrast media, assisting in sterile procedures, and supporting other routine procedures as required.
