Job summary

CoxHealth in Springfield, MO, is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiology procedures independently or under physician guidance, while upholding patient care and confidentiality. You will support didactic radiology training for students and maintain high image quality.

Eligible for up to a $4,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance; team-oriented with strong communication and time-management skills. Day shift, 9–6, 36 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT accredited School of Radiologic Technology is required.
• Associate degree in Radiology or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Job Summary

Independently, or under the direct supervision of a physician, performs radiology procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology, following policies and protocols using established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum images, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority. Supports didactic training of radiology students through demonstration and constructive guidance.

Education

• Required: Graduate of ARRT accredited School of Radiological Technology
• Preferred: Associates Degree in Radiology or a related field

Experience

• Preferred: 1-2 Years Related Experience

Skills

• Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of current diagnostic radiology technical information.
• Proficient in using computers and computer systems.
• Excellent time management, interpersonal, presentation, organization, prioritizing, decision-making, and planning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
