Job summary

Synergy Surgery Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist for our fast-paced ASC environment. The role involves performing radiographs, operating X-ray equipment, and ensuring patient safety with proper exposure and positioning.

The ideal candidate is a Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, with AART registration and CPR current, and strong communication skills. Minimum 2 years of management experience is preferred, with knowledge of Joint Commission regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
• Minimum 2 years of previous management experience preferred.
• AART Registered and CPR Current.
• Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations.
• Must possess independent decision making skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographs and ensure proper exposure per physician instructions.
• Position patients and provide immobilization and protective devices as required.
• Explain procedures to patients and monitor conditions; report changes to staff.
• Assist fluoroscopic examinations and special radiographic studies.
• Record and label film, and maintain organized work area.
• Consult with lead tech and radiologist to maintain quality standards.
• Process film according to procedures and keep area clean and orderly.
