Job description

Job Overview

As a Radiology Technologist, you will balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient workflow of the office as well as provide support to the physician during medical procedures. This position is part‑time, requiring 1‑3 days per week (Mon‑Fri) with 4‑9 hour shifts at Queens locations (Valley Stream, Jamaica, others). You will ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Neuro‑vascular OEC 9800 C‑Arm during peripheral arterial diagnostic and treatment procedures in a premier office‑based lab.
• Maintain facilities, equipment, and materials to promote efficiency, health, comfort, and safety of patients and staff.
• Check equipment, supplies and accessories on a regular daily basis.
• Transfer DICOM images to the PACS system.
• Assist physicians with procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Travel reliably to each clinic location.

Qualifications

• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with ARRT certification required.
• Minimum one year of Interventional / Vascular Radiology experience required.
• Technical/Professional training or degree as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Cultural sensitivity and excellent patient care skills.
• Ability to work well in a high volume, fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work as part of a team.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from $83,000 to $95,000.
