Job summary

MercyCare North is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform general diagnostic radiography across body parts, while handling basic lab tests and venipuncture under CLIA guidelines. You will use EPIC and PACS-Isite for patient registration, imaging orders and image retrieval.

The role demands ARRT certification, an Iowa radiography permit, and willingness to work evening/night shifts. Sign-on bonus up to $7,500 is available for external applicants.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required and active.
• Associate's degree in radiologic technology preferred.
• Iowa Permit to Practice Radiography required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic radiographic procedures for various body parts.
• Process lab tests and venipuncture per CLIA guidelines.
• Document lab results and ensure proper patient identification and data accuracy.
• Maintain safety standards and complete incident reports when needed.
• Assist in orientation and training of staff and students.
