Job summary

Harborview Medical Center in Seattle is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic exams, position patients, and support imaging workflows. You will educate patients and families about radiology procedures and contribute to safe, high-quality care in a busy radiology department.

The role requires completion of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program, WA X-ray technician registration, and state certification as a radiologic technologist before probation.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved radiologic technology program or equivalent education/experience.
• Registered as an X-Ray Technician by the State of Washington.
• Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist prior to probation.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic exams as assigned, positions patients and ensures immobilization.
• Operates Computed and Digital Radiography equipment, PACS, HIS and RIS systems.
• Maintains records in the Radiology Information System and assists in staff orientation.
• May be assigned lead responsibilities and may work on-call.
