Job summary

Tenet-AZ Region in Glendale, Arizona seeks a Radiology Technologist for ongoing 40-hour weeks. The role requires 8-hour shifts, staff employment, and a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 based on eligibility.

The incumbent will perform radiographic procedures for all ages, support on-call duties, and handle equipment calibration and QC. Required are ARRT and CRT certifications, CPR, and completion of a JRCERT-approved radiologic technology program, with at least six months of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of a JRCERT approved formal program in Radiologic Technology.
• Current ARRT registration and CRT certification, CPR certification.
• Minimum six months of clinical radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures for radiologic diagnoses with independent judgment.
• On-call procedures when indicated and ability to handle surgery cases.
• Calibrates, troubleshoots, and maintains radiology equipment per policy.
• Explains procedures to patients and acts as their advocate.
• Processes billing/charging using computer systems.
• Coordinates with radiologists and other staff to optimize patient care.
• Adjusts work schedule to meet departmental needs.
