Job summary

Lakes Regional Healthcare is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology for inpatients and outpatients in a patient-focused radiology department. The role requires completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program and ARRT certification, with eligibility for an Iowa permit.

BLS for healthcare providers is also required. Typically 9-hour day shifts with weekend/holiday rotation; prior CT training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registered and eligible for Iowa permit.
• Must have or obtain Iowa permit to practice radiology.
• BLS for healthcare provider required.
• Experience preferred; CT training available.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiology for hospital inpatients and outpatients in accordance with established standards and policies.
• Deliver patient care with accuracy, safety and professionalism.
• Collaborate with radiology team to ensure quality images and patient satisfaction.

Lake Regional Healthcare is currently seeking Radiology Technologists to deliver the best possible care in LRH's patient-focused setting.

SUMMARY:

Performs diagnostic radiology for hospital inpatients and outpatients in accordance with established standards and policies.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Prior experience is preferred; can train in CT.Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and eligible for a permit to practice in the State of Iowa.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

Must have a general permit to practice from the Radiology Section of the Iowa Department of Health and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Must be current in or attend the first available class to obtain certification in BLS for the healthcare provider. Must be current in or complete the course for Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter according to hospital Education Policy.
