Job summary

OrthoVirginia, Virginia’s largest orthopedic specialty practice, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team. You’ll gain hands-on orthopedic imaging experience while collaborating with physicians, clinical teams, and imaging professionals.

Whether you are an experienced technologist or a recent graduate, you will prepare patients, perform X-ray exams, operate C-arm equipment, review image quality, and help ensure safety and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia Radiologic Technologist license.
• ARRT certification.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• 2+ years of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for radiographic procedures while ensuring their comfort, safety, and privacy.
• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations and produce high-quality digital images.
• Operate radiographic and C-arm equipment safely and effectively.
• Review images for technical quality, anatomical accuracy, and proper patient identification.
• Follow radiation safety standards and best practices to minimize exposure.
• Maintain imaging rooms and equipment to support safety, compliance, and operational readiness.
• Partner closely with physicians and clinical team members to provide an excellent patient experience.
• Support additional imaging and clinical needs as part of a collaborative team.

Compensation Range for this position:

$35.27 - $52.91

Compensation for this role will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geography/market, and internal equity considerations.
