• Days Position: 3 12-hour days per week, start times of 11:15am-11:45pm
• Rotating Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, then Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Holiday rotation

Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24-hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center, and outpatient diagnostic and imaging services.

The Radiology Department at NWHC provides outpatient and emergency services, equipped with DR & PACS technology. Our patients range from infants to late adulthood. Digital mammography performs screening, diagnostic, and follow-up services. Diagnostic Radiology offers same-day service.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and/or treatment of disorders.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients and equipment for procedures. Informs patients about instructions and procedure details with high customer service and professionalism.
• Performs radiographic examinations independently, including on-call, portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.

• Associate degree or Trade School equivalency

Licenses & Certifications

• IEMA - Illinois only, excluding MRI
• Radiology Technologist - Registered
