Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a full-time PM rotating weekends position.
Responsibilities include operating x-ray equipment, selecting exposure factors and positioning patients to ensure high-quality images while maintaining safety. Requirements: accredited Radiology program graduate, ARRT registration or eligible, IDNS license and current CPR. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for external candidates.

Position Requirements:
This is a pm shift position and every other Saturday overnight.
~Previous experience is desirable
~Good communication skills
~Basic understanding of R.I.S., and basic computer knowledge
~Ability to work weekends, holidays and emergency call back in order to accommodate staffing needs.
~May be exposed to radiation during procedures.
~May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time, or be required to lift and move patients
~May be exposed to hazardous materials, infectious disease and required to participate in annual emergency drills.
~Required to maintain current CPR certification.
~If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case~by~case basis.
Purpose: Performs radiographic examinations for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures.
