Job summary

Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr, IA is seeking a diagnostic radiology professional to join a supportive team. We offer flexible scheduling (PRN, part-time, or full-time) to help you balance work and home.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate radiology equipment, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
• Follow established protocols for radiation safety and patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist with the maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment.
• Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Works to maintain efficiency in the Department with particular attention to technique and patient procedures to avoid unnecessary exposure and wastage of films.
• Assists with Quality Control as necessary or as indicated by the Radiology Director.
