Parham Doctors' Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide radiographic imaging and patient care. You will prepare patients, operate radiology equipment, and assist radiologists with procedures, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.

Qualifications include BLS within 30 days, ARRT-R within 1 year, and either a vocational graduate credential or relevant work experience. This role offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R radiography certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Vocational School Graduate or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce radiographs.
• Prepare patients for procedures through proper positioning and exposure settings.
• Maintain production and quality of radiographs by following standards.
• Document patient care services in records.
• Review exams for technical accuracy and anatomical orientation.
• Assist radiologist with medications and contrast agents.
• Participate in emergency call rotation.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Radiologic Technologist, you would provide information to diagnose patient illnesses, by operating radiologic equipment to produce radiographs. Prior to each exam, you would prepare patient for radiological procedure through proper positioning and image technique, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified position, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.

• You will maintain production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures
• Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
• You will review each exam for technical accuracy and identifies anatomical orientation on all images.
• Assist the radiologist in administering medications, contrast agents and all types of care to the patient.
• Participate in emergency call rotation to meet department needs.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Vocational School Graduate, or Work Experience in lieu of Degree
