Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, CO is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a high-volume setting. You will be responsible for operating X-ray equipment, ensuring patient safety, and delivering quality imaging while maintaining infection control standards.

Qualifications include an associate degree (bachelor’s preferred) and ARRT registration. A minimum of 1 year post-certification experience is preferred; CPR/BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in Diagnostic Imaging, including Surgery and Trauma.
• Experience as Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• Post-certification experience to evaluate/instruct radiographers.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment to complete procedures safely.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with patients and staff.
• Monitor patient condition and transport as needed.
• Ensure exam rooms and equipment are clean and ready for use.

Job Description :

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, providers, team members, and others of diverse backgrounds.
• Moves, positions, and manipulates radiographic equipment to complete requested procedures safely.
• Performs direct patient care duties within the technologist’s scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition, transporting patient, and using proper infection control techniques.
• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and security checks.??
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.??

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging to include Surgery and Trauma
• Previous Radiologic Technologist experience [Preferred]
• One year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers
• Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, methodology, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure that information is obtained and presented accurately
• Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations, including x-ray producing equipment, if applicable per facility
