Job summary

National Mobile X-Ray in Hickory, NC is seeking a full-time Radiology Technologist to travel to various patient sites in a company vehicle. You will perform X-rays and EKGs, explain procedures to patients, and ensure imaging is uploaded securely to PACS.

The role requires ARRT and BLS certification, a valid driver’s license, and a strong commitment to patient care. You will work in a supportive team that values accuracy, safety, and professional growth, with professional development

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Certification is required.
• BLS Certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel to various patient sites using a company-provided vehicle.
• Excellent communication skills with a commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Travel to care settings in a company-provided vehicle to perform X-rays and EKGs with precision and professionalism.
• Explain procedures clearly to put patients at ease and ensure safety standards are followed.
• Position equipment for optimal imaging and follow physician instructions.
• Upload images to secure PACS for immediate access by providers.
• Maintain clean equipment and accurate record-keeping; work independently with team support when needed.

As our Radiology Technologist, you're the expert patients rely on for clarity and care. Each day, you travel to different care settings in a company-provided vehicle, performing X-rays and EKGs with precision and professionalism. You explain procedures in a way that puts patients at ease, position equipment for the best possible images, and follow physician instructions while maintaining strict safety standards. After capturing the images, you upload them to our secure PACS system, ensuring providers have immediate access to results. You keep equipment clean, records accurate, and operate independently, always backed by a responsive team that's ready to support you when needed.
