Job summary

Providence is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to perform radiology/CT exams and assist radiologists onsite, contributing to accurate interpretations. This role includes on-call coverage during evenings and weekends and active participation in department growth and process improvements.

Required qualifications include two years of accredited radiologic technologist training, WA licensure, ARRT certification, BLS, and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Two years of community college or vocational training in an accredited radiologic technologist program.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
• ARRT national certification upon hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire.
• Minimum 1 year experience or equivalent.

Job description

Provides quality care to patients. Performs Radiology/CT exams proficiently to provide Inland Imaging Radiologist with accurate information to reach an interpretation. Participates in scheduled 24 hour on call availability, assuring evening and weekend coverage. Participates in the growth and development of the DI department and contributes ideas. Brings areas of improvement to the attention of Management.

The Registered Radiological Technologist is responsible for radiological procedures, assisting radiologist, and radiographic equipment operation s as outlined in the job's position description. Typical responsibility includes: setting up and conducting radiological procedures and performing quality control and reporting tasks.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: The equivalent of two years community college/vocational training in an accredited radiological technologist training program.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
• National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 1 year experience or equivalent.
