Job summary

West Boca Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for night shift. The role operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, supports adult, pediatric, and neonatal care, and participates in daily diagnostic radiology procedures including on-call.

Required: graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program; ARRT Registered; Florida DOH license; BLS/CPR. Preferred: associate or bachelor in Radiologic Technology. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered, Florida DOH license, and BLS/CPR certification are required.
• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, including portable, OR, C-Arm, and O-Arm procedures to obtain optimal radiographs.
• Provide care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients and participate in daily Diagnostic Radiology procedures, including on-call duties.

Job description

Job Shift: Nights Job Type: Full Time Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

The Radiology Tech operates all radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, portable equipment to include Operating room, portable, C-Arm, and O-Arm procedures to obtain optimal radiographs of designated portions of the body to aid in diagnosis of disease. Direct responsibility for adult, pediatric, and neonatal care until patient is returned to patient room or until outpatient is discharged. Participates in the daily routine of Diagnostic Radiology procedures and including On-Call.

Education

• Minimum: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology

Experience

• Thorough knowledge of radiologic technology, terminology, practice, procedure, physiology and human anatomy

Other Qualifications

• 1. ARRT (R) Registered
• 2. State of Florida, DOH License
• 3. American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
