Veracity Ventures Inc. in Warwick, RI is seeking an experienced Radiology Technician to join a Women’s Diagnostic Imaging department. The role requires independent imaging across X-Ray, Mammography, and Bone Density modalities, with a focus on patient care and safety in a fast-paced setting.

The candidate should be proficient with RIS, CIS, and PACS, and comfortable training staff or students. Onsite, Monday–Friday, daytime hours, approximately 90-day contract.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of radiology experience.
• Experience performing diagnostic imaging procedures independently.
• Experience with X-Ray, Mammography, and Bone Density.
• Familiarity with RIS, CIS, and PACS.
• Strong patient-care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations independently according to established protocols.
• Operate and demonstrate competency with X-Ray, Mammography, and Bone Density equipment.
• Position patients appropriately and select proper examination views and exposure techniques.
• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and repeat images when necessary.
• Perform required equipment quality-control procedures.
• Follow radiation safety practices and applicable clinical standards.
• Review exam requisitions and ensure appropriate preparation, positioning, and room setup.
• Work closely with radiologists, team leaders, clinical staff, and other departments.
• Support patient access and coordination of imaging examinations.
• Use imaging and healthcare systems including RIS, CIS, and PACS.
• Participate in continuing education and departmental training activities.
• Help train students and staff on departmental procedures as assigned.

We’re seeking an experienced Radiology Technician / Radiologic Technologist to join a Women’s Diagnostic Imaging department in Warwick, RI.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of radiology experience
• Radiology Technician / Radiologic Technologist background
• Experience independently performing diagnostic imaging procedures
• Experience with X-Ray, Mammography, and Bone Density
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and exposure principles
• Experience evaluating image quality and performing repeat imaging when needed
• Familiarity with RIS, CIS, and PACS
• Ability to perform equipment quality-control procedures
• Strong patient-care, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work onsite Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
